Young Adults (Age 18 to 35)
About Our Young Adult Ministry
What is Young Adult Ministry?
The US Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) defines young adults as ages 18-35+, single, married, widowed, or divorced. Young Adults are parents, college students, engineers, lawyers, teachers, landscapers, soldiers, writers, and every other career. The USCCB vision for young adults includes the call to holiness “growing in Jesus Christ,” the call to community “nourishing faith,” and the call to service “living faith in the world.”
OK, so what does this mean for me in Fayetteville?
The Fayetteville Young Adult Ministry is a cooperative effort of Catholic parishes in Fayetteville and the surrounding area. Together we sponsor events to include bi-monthly Bible studies, “Spirits and Wisdom” discussion dinners, service projects, fellowship activities, and more. Events are open to all…Catholic, non-Catholic, or once-Catholic, from, “I can’t remember the last time I went to church” to “I just want to learn about God” and everything in between.
